All around the neighborhood
Most of our more than eighty Art Hop artists are hosted by volunteer neighbor hosts in their porch, garage and/or driveway. Some are local artists showing their work in their own home, studio, garage, or yard and often hosting other artists. 

Our Artists
Our artists work in many media, including: painting, ceramics, glass, fiber, wood, photography, sculpture and jewelry, plus cards and gifts. Our visitors, browsers and buyers, enjoy a great day out! The printable and interactive online map listing Artists & Venues comes out about a week ahead. It includes artists' names, mediums and venue accessibility.

Parking
There's plenty of free parking on the street and at local schools - parking lots are marked on our map. Church lots are available except on Sunday mornings. We open at noon on Sunday. Please be considerate of our neighbors when parking!

Lunch or After Hours - food and drink
Food trucks will be marked on the map for all your snack needs! Also in our neighborhood, there's Jefferson Market (lunch and brunch, free parking), Washtenaw Dairy (ice cream, sandwiches, coffee, free parking) and Argus Farm Stop, (lunch, tea & coffee, pastries, plus wine & beer in the evenings - free but limited parking). There are plenty of great restaurants and bars to enjoy nearby on Main Street, and several fast food places with free parking by Stadium and W Liberty; we recommend Pilar's Tamales and Taco King.

Music
Live music is sometimes included in Art Hop. Westside Unitarian Church on 7th will have live music on Sunday (you'll hear it from Mt Pleasant!). Check back closer to the event for updates.

Getting around
Art Hop is walkable! The map numbering leads you along the best route to explore the wide variety of work our artists are displaying. For a more leisurely stroll, spread your visit over two days. Or, walk-and-drive (make use of the free street parking all around our area), or bike around and collect any larger purchases at the end of the day (many artists can deliver). We love Boober tours - call or text 734 999 4399 who can pick you up by pedicab (e-bike rickshaw) to go for a sandwich or to take your art purchase back to the car. Better yet, hire a Boober to take you stop-by-stop in style round the whole of Art Hop!

Fun day out!
